Legendary Master

Radik Tyulyush

A leading figure in Tuvan throat singing, the singer, composer, maestro of traditional Tuvan throat singing, member of the HUUN HUUR TU group, soloist of Chalama Project, winner of The BBC Radio 3 Award for World Music.

Radik brings both tradition and innovation to his art. Known for his powerful voice and deep connection to the land, he shares more than just techniques — he offers a doorway into the spirit of Khoomei.

His teaching is personal, patient, and rooted in centuries of tradition, making the art of overtone singing accessible whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced vocalist.

Throat singing lessons

Step into the world of Khoomei and explore the powerful connection between voice, breath, and nature.

Under Radik Tyulyush’s guidance, you’ll dive deep into the techniques of traditional Tuvan throat singing and the art of overtone singing, exploring a range of styles and sub-styles.

Beginners will be gently guided through their first sounds, with clear, practical steps for continued self-practice.

Experienced singers will receive tailored insights and advanced techniques to refine their skills and deepen their connection to the craft.

Radik’s approach is rooted in tradition but attuned to each student’s unique voice — creating a space where both curiosity and mastery can thrive.

Your guides for this adventure

These people will help you on your way to adventures

Vladimir
Djordjevic,
The flowstreamer, turning motion into meaning

“Some journeys don’t require distance. Yet, it’s often by moving through the world that we move within ourselves. Immersing in the diversity of cultures isn’t just about discovering the ‘other,’ but about recognizing new parts of ourselves. Travel is motion, stillness, and growth — all at once.”

Anton
Pavlov,
The pathfinder to beyond the horizon

“As for me, traveling is not only an opportunity to know our planet better, but also a way to look at myself and people around from a different perspective. Every time we go to new places, we reveal another side of our character, previously unknown to us”

Nariman
Salim,
The bridge between you and the spirit of the place

“Every time you step on a path, the journey unfolds in two planes at once: in the external world and the inner world. Moving between countries and continents, studying the traditions of different cultures, looking into the eyes of passers-by, you discover the whole of which we are all parts”
